slot | Ettin-D | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Josh Jacobs | website | [view] | The Dale Norns are notable for being the very first third party C3 breed. They originally occupied Norn J, but with the Toxic Norns being released Guflor moved them into Ettin D.
They originally had a unique genome that made them resistant to grendel hits, but unfortunately this genome was lost and the current version simply uses the ChiChi Norn genome. |

You can see them in comparison with other brain variants here.

type | Genetics Only | author | KittyTikara | updated | 1/30/2014 | The Cattle Norns are a fairly old experiment of mine, which were made to create a sort of "feeder Norn" for the Facticius GoMs that I never got around to releasing. I had two different ideas on how to feeding my Grendels so there are two different types of Cattle Norns. The second type is the more stable food source.
The first type, Cattle Norn A, age quickly to adulthood and tend to breed a lot once they get started. They also don't get crowded very easily. They aren't immune to being hit, but adults should make a decent meal for your Grendels. The babies work better as snacks.
The second type, Cattle Norn B, is almost immortal and should be infertile. They are immune to being hit, and actually gain nutrients from being hit if I remember correctly. They are killed almost imminently when the hand slaps them though, as a sort of "safety mechanism" but I don't actually think there is a need for it in most cases. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Grendel Man | updated | 1/8/2014 | website | [view] | Reef Gliders are amphibious Norns who gain the ability to swim at adolescence. They don't crowd as easily as other Norns do, and have a slight carnivorous preference upon hitting swimming age. Females have the swim bladder from the Astro Tetras to make egg-laying go faster.
They use the sprites of the Toxic Norns (Norn J), Aqua Norns (Ettin K), and Maraquan Grendels (Grendel W). |

type | Genetics Only | author | Arnout | updated | 12/24/2013 | Merry Christmas in advance, folks! Thought I'd simply boot this thing up and start my genetics kit to make you lot a breed that fits this season.
The Frost Norns came to my mind when I was thinking of making something out of Magma Norns. I have edited their pigment bleed genes as well as creating new ones to intensify their colors. I've also switched all hotness and coldness genes. This basically makes them the exact opposite of the Magma Norns. Last but not least have I edited some of their stimuli; a lot of creatures tend to slap or approach each other when they are bored or crowded. I have removed the boredom and crowdedness reductions in these stimuli, making the Frost Norns slightly more friendly than other Norns and less likely to 'freeze on each other'.
Just remember that they are very vulnerable to illness, just like their Magma counterparts. I would recommend keeping them in bacteria-free environments, like Docking Station's Norn Meso.
The zip file contains a starter pair capable of breeding, as well as their genetics. While you're at it, may I also recommend downloading Moe's Xmas Pack? It comes with a handy snowglobe to keep your creatures cool. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Codo | The most notable feature of the Lovedoll Norns is that they cannot breed, but they are able to kisspop. In this manner, they can serve to keep the norn population down by kisspopping with fertile norns and keeping their sex drive down.
To aid them in this purpose, they age quickly to youth and typically kisspop readily. They also get most of their nutrition from being around other norns.
They use the sprites of the Bengal Norns (Norn B) and the Civet Norns (Norn C). |

This loveable green critter is decked with the finest threads. His extremely bizarre vocabulary is sure to rub off on any Norn, Grendel, Ettin or Geat he encounters. And of course, he is breedable, using only the finest Digital DNA.
If you do not want a vicious, evil Grendel, please download and install the Friendly Grendel COB if you have not already done so. |

type | Genetics Only | author | HavenHoney | HavenHoney says: "These are the Tera Grendels. They are a toxic bree and don't really like to get slapped. I suggest keeping them away from other Grendels considering they use the Toxic Norn genome. They shouldn't use much machinery, but like animals. They should be very friendly. Be sure to keep them away from regular food."
Tera Grendels require the Banshee Grendel sprites.

type | Genetics Only | author | Jessica | This updated genome for the Gaius includes a few small, but important, changes. The original Gaius had instincts telling it to seek out Norns for breeding and companionship. For a breeding population of Gaius, this can lead to a rapid decline in population. Instincts have been changed in this genome so that Gaius seeks out other Geats (Gaius). From testing, this greatly improved their breeding capabilities.
Note that if you use a single Gaius as a companion for Norns, this update will not be beneficial: It's mostly for those who would like to breed Gaius.
The original Gaius were created by Ghosthande.

- Aged Copper
- Antique Copper
- Black Nickel
- Copper
- Gold
- Nickel
- Platinum
- Silver
Special thanks to Ghosthande for creating the original Gaius, and to Ylukyun for coming up with the Colortrue idea!
