type | Genetics Only | author | Lis Morris | updated | 1/1/2015 | website | [view] | Lis Morris writes: "These are my first gengineered Norns for C2 that are designed to live in a different way to normal Norns. Instead of lungs, they have gills. They also have altered instincts, designed to try and get them back in the water if they leave it. They like leaping over edges! Unlike land Norns, the males and females are different colours; the females are camoflaged, wheras the males are more flamboyent. Since they suffocate on land, I've designed a COB that will inject a baby Norn into the dark ocean to keep Borland company!
Please place both files ending in .gen into your Creatures 2/Genetics folder, and the two COB files into your Creatures 2/Objects folder. Use the agent injector to bring them to life! Thanks must go to Slink for showing me the simple way to turn lungs into gills." |

type | Genetics Only | author | OneDay | updated | 1/1/2015 | From the fabled lost city of Atlanta, this Norn breed will not survive above water. Appearance will vary. |

type | Genetics Only | author | OneDay | updated | 1/1/2015 | Just some run of the mill Nettins with a mildly amusing egg filename. |
 |
type | Genetics Only | author | OneDay | updated | 1/1/2015 | Just some garden variety Grenorns. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Kezune | updated | 12/7/2014 | Kezune says: "These CFE Colortrue edits also include evolnemesis's hunger overwhelmsion and drowning edits. Check out his CFF breed for more information.
To keep these guys happy and healthy, they need to eat bugs and critters. They can still live off of basic foods like carrots and cheese but they gain less benefit. This variety can eat stingers with relatively little discomfort and have genes in place that make them better prepared to deal with Heavy Metals, including gaining extra fat from eating critters. To keep them happy, make sure they have lots more to eat than just stingers and give them lots of fatty food.
Like all Ettins, they prefer gadgets over toys but, unlike other Ettins, they can still see gadgets around Ettin Home Smell, so feel free to let them hoard their toys around the Ettin home - they'll still be able to use them."
Be sure to install a stinger fix included in the download! The original Chameleon breed was created by Norngirl and Razgriz. The Colortrue Chameleons were created by Kezune for CCSF 2014. |

To keep these guys happy and healthy, they need to eat bugs and critters. They can still live off of basic foods like carrots and cheese but they gain less benefit. Beware feeding this variety pests, however, as this variety doesn't handle Heavy Metals well. They lack instincts to eat pests, however, so you shouldn't have too much difficulty.
Like all Ettins, they prefer gadgets over toys but, unlike other Ettins, they can still see gadgets around Ettin Home Smell, so feel free to let them hoard their toys around the Ettin home - they'll still be able to use them."
These colorful Ettins require the Chameleon Ettins sprites to look right. The original Chameleon breed was created by Norngirl and Razgriz. The Colortrue Chameleons were created by Kezune for CCSF 2014. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Ylukyun | Ylukyun says: "My attempt to faithfully recreate the colors of Creatchi in-game! Due to the way the game handles pigments, their colors don't mix quite the way Creatchi colors do. This release has no egg agent and only contains the basic colors (red, green, yellow, blue) so it can be considered a beta release. The full release will have pink, purple, aqua etc."
Each color also has a male and female Norn, for those who can't inject genomes! Created by Ylukyun for CCSF 2014. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Ylukyun | Ylukyun says: "Like Shiba Inu dogs, these Ettins are alert and fearless. Other than that they are not too remarkable, being based on the Bruin Norns."
These Ettins seem like they'd appreciate being able to speak in their native tongue! They also require the C1toDS Pixie, Horse and Ron sprites to look right. Submitted by Ylukyun for CCSF 2014. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Grendel Man | updated | 11/30/2014 | Grendel Man says: "These are essentially an updated version of the breed of the same name created by ToxicNorn. They're fast-breeding, fast-aging, and very social. Taken altogether, this means they'll likely fill up one's world given half a chance. A boon for the impatient norn breeder, but maybe a little annoying for everyone else."
Be careful not to overload your ship with them! They require the ChiChi, Astro, and Harlequin Norn sprites. |

slot | Geat-D | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Arnout | updated | 12/16/2014 | A weird and wonderful breed that comes in three varieties: Lizard Black Blobs, Normal Black Blobs and UFO Black Blobs.
* They are immortal
* Completely immune to disease and injury
* Never age
* Don't need food
* Behave aggressively towards Grendels and generally dislike Norns and Ettins
The Black Blobs also come with their own voices which must be installed if there aren't any other Geat voices present in your sounds folder. |

slot | Geat-X | type | Genetics + Sprites | author | Manda Benson | updated | 10/26/2014 | website | [view] | The Sphinx Norns are a hardy desert type of Norn originally created for C2. They don't get overcrowded so much as the normal Norns and have a more robust immune system.
There are Sphinx Norns for both C2 and C3. The C2 version is at the very bottom at the page. |

type | Genetics Only | author | KittyTikara | The Snowbound Norns are based on CFE Gizmos and they aren't the easiest Norns to raise. They continuously get hot and, if an agent isn't keeping them cool, they will slowly die. They do slowly build up an immunity, of sorts, if they get cold enough, but this will eventually run out. If they are sneezing or coughing, move them near an agent that makes Creatures cold. The iceflowers is a good agent for this.
They are an old genetic breed that gave me all sorts of trouble when I was making them. I make no guarantees that they work perfectly. They work well in my worlds, but your results might vary. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Riakodoadm | Underwhelming, but gotta get this started somehow.
This pack contains 3 breeds; the light and fluffy Cloud Norns, the equally poofy Cloud Ettins, and the dependant (troublesome) Gerbil Norns. More detailed info can be found in the enclosed text file. |

type | Genetics Only | author | Riakodoadm | updated | 8/30/2014 | Suddenly, genetic breeds. ![[nalien] [nalien]](/images/smilies/emot_alien.gif)
The brightly-colored Spearmint Norn is more or less your average CFE norn, with a somewhat peaceful temperament; it doesn't really start feeling anger until it's grown up a bit. The tint-less Grey Spearmint Norn is... Another story. While not openly hostile, it does have some very questionable (or broken!) instincts, and might even come with an irrational phobia.mBetween them, they use Treehugger, Bengal, Hardman, Bengal des Neiges and Magma sprites (and I hope to heck it works). |

type | Genetics Only | author | Vampess, Darcie | updated | 10/17/2016 | website | [view] | Vampess's Creatures Full of Edits update meets Darcie's Gizmo update!
I am in no way responsible for the development of either of these sets of updates - all I've done was combine them together.
Unlike my previous release, this one comes in only one flavor - CFE with all of the Gizmo changes. Mutations can still occur to the life genes in this version but the chances are greatly reduced. If you would like more information on either the CFE or Gizmo edits, please read up on the pages I've linked below.
You will find future updates to this pack and the old version available on the website link to the right.
