In the Creatures series, creatures experience items in their environment in a very general way - they class them in groups. Creatures cannot distinguish between two different toys if they are both in the toy genus, they will simply go for the closest one at hand. These are a list of examples of items in the C3/DS genus groupings that creatures can see and interact with.
