Explaining the gagging function on Creatures Caves.

So, you find yourself gagged, eh? This means that you have broken a rule repeatedly and therefore have had your privilege to post on the website revoked. A moderator, manager or administrator may gag a member for a set length of time ranging from 1 day to 30 days. You have probably seen a similar message when you attempt to post something:

You were gagged on 11/1/12 for 7 days for posting inappropriate comments in the forum.

The date on the gag message is the date that the gag began. Your ability to post will automatically be reinstated once the set number of days have passed. For example, if you were gagged on November 1st, 2012 (11/1/12) for seven days, then your gag will automatically expire on November 8th, 2012 (seven days after the gag began).

If you feel that you have been gagged by mistake or would like to file a dispute against the staff member that gagged you, please feel free to send an e-mail to website staff.
