| Kytoril has learned to survive in the wilderness all by himself, and can even communicate with the animals. However, talking to other Creatchis is a bit beyond him. He's really shy, and would much rather hide in the Jungle Terrarium than risk having to speak to others. When you get to know him, though, he can be quite nice, if quiet. Kytoril makes a quiet humming noise. |

Hricine watches his dad in amazement, and takes the bottle carefully. He stares at the bottle, mesmerized for a few seconds, before hugging his father.

They arrive at the cave a few minutes later. Kytoril waits until the two of them are inside, then picks up a long stick with a hook at the end. He uses it to pull some thick vines down over the entrance.
Next, he crouches next to a small hole in the wall. He pulls out a small leather bag, and carries it over to a small pit surrounded by rocks. He puts the bag down, and pulls out some dry grass and a few twigs. He carefully arranges these in the center of the pit. Then, he pulls a small shard of metal and a shiny black rock out of the bag. He strikes them together, and some sparks fly towards the grass. He ends down and gently blows on the sparks until the twigs catch fire. He carefully returns the rock and the metal to the bag, and puts it away again.
Now that he has light to see by, he goes over to his nest, which is full of soft pine needles, grasses, and leaves. There are a few scraps of fabric, pieces of thread, and ribbons in it, too, making it look much like a birds nest. Kytoril lifts up a handful of bedding, revealing a small hole underneath. He reaches into the hole, and pulls out a small shiny bottle. He looks into the clear glass of its container, and watches his reflection in the glowing liquid. "Beh graaaah," he says. This bottle is obviously important to him.
He replaces the bedding and stands up again. He turns to Hircine, hugs him proudly, and hands the bottle to his son.

Hircine gets off Kytoril's leg, and walks beside him. He's forgotten why he'd clung to his leg in the first place, and is exited to see where his father is taking him.
| |
|
Kytoril decides that, as long as Hircine is here, he might as well do something that he's been meaning to for a while. He starts walking towards the cave where he made his nest, slightly hampered by Hircine's weight on his leg.
| |
|
Hrcine just glares at Kytoril, and refuses to detach from his leg. He can;t explain why he thinks something is wrong, as he isn't to sure himself.
| |
|
Kytoril doesn't know why Hircine thinks something is wrong. His hair turning grey doesn't really mean anything, right? Maybe it just changed to match his stripes. He asks, "Graaaah?" and tries to detach Hircine from his leg.
| |
|
Hircine can tell something is up with his father. So he clings to his leg and demands Kytoril tell him what's going on.
| |
|
Hircine giggles and hugs his dad back.
| |
|
Kytoril is surprised, and he looks at the mirror. The only place he has ever seen something like this was when looking into a pond. Is this thing a magical pond? He doesn't know, but he's proud of his son for finding it. He looks back at Hircine, then congratulates him and lifts him up for the kind of rib-crushing hug that only a Grendel can give.
| |
|
Hircine makes an annoyed noise and goes off to hunt some insects. Instead he finds a small mirror and returns to give it to Kytoril. "Shiiny," he says proudly.
