Hey guys!
Here's the thing-
I was about to convert some images to c16s, but I got a weird message, saying "bitmap is in wrong format, ensure your bitmap is 24 bit and try again."
I've done this before, can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!

Well, are they in 24 bit format? If you open them in a graphics program and save, you should have some advanced options such as color depth to select. A lot of programs these days default to 32 bit for BMPs, so you might have to manually re-save them in 24.
You might also be able to right click them and check the file properties to see what they've been saved as.

I saved It as a 24 bit, But it rejects it anyway.
Update: I got it to work, Though I had to go through GIMP. I guess the Windows Paint I have on my new computer is different from my old one.
Thank you anyway! |

Did you just open them in GIMP and save them again or did you do something else as well? Might be useful for people in the future looking for a solution.

I opened the BMP with GIMP, and then copied the images from GIMP to Spritebuilder.
Somehow, it worked.
That's all I know.
Thank you for asking. |
