KnyteTrypper's C3/DS Nexus is proud to present the return of the Set Norns.
Prowling thru the Norn Adoption Center, on a long-neglected page, I discovered a single download of what might have been the last Set Norn. The Set Norns were an early breed of extremely aggressive norn (named after Set the Destroyer, you'd expect that, lol), so old that they were ancestor to the original Osiris norns, the very first expressive norn breed for Creatures 3. Both breeds were once available at a long defunct website called the Osiris Project. Few details of the site remain, and nothing but the name of the breed's creator, Nightrunner, are to be found.
The remaining specimen was sufficient for me to recreate the genome, and from that, an egg.agent. I've slowed down what was an instant transition from baby to adult. It's still quick, but not immediate. I've otherwise left the genetics intact, to preserve the integrity of the breed. The return of the Set Norns begins now. The egg.agent and a starter pair of youths are now available at my site.
(Note: I did not create the Set Norns, I merely resurrected them. No information remains on how to contact Nightrunner, their creator. But if he/she is still part of the CC, I'd be pleased if he/she would contact me and give me more information about the breed's specifics, and grant me his/her official permission to host them.)

...and Grendel arms and legs. Remember, they date from a time when there were no expressive norns. So I guess that look was a way of conveying "these are some BAD boys, here!" in the absence of evil grins.

Whoa!
The story you tell could be worthy of a science tale of rediscovery!
I never really knew the set norns (I came here long after they went down) and if I haden't read this I would never had known about them. They sound cool.
Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)>

Check them out! They're exceptionally bad-tempered, which is what they're supposed to be. Wish I'd had them when I was breeding my Hunter Norns, lol.

I'd never heard of the Set norns before I came hear, but I remember seeing something about the Osiris norns when I was like 8/9/10ish. |

Beware what remains hidden in the day. For it may harm the unwary. |
