I sold a 'boring' looking hatchling for 4000 today. Mirror, don't remember the colors, but nothing fancy at all. Then again it's the first time I manage to sell a dragon, I was surprised.

Today is the day to buy! Not the day to sell...
"Boring" Hatchling selling prices are in the 3500 zone.
I might start giving daily Hatchling stock reports.

I would use the auction house more if it didn't always constantly lag. Today was so-so but it never seems to work smoothly (the web in general anyway).
I have not been payed out treasure a few times when playing shock switch :s

I hope they can reopen registrations soon. It'd help dragon prices a lot, since there'd be people who aren't up to their ears in dragons already to buy them again.
Looking forward to seeing Skydancers, even though I'm a ways from being able to afford a scroll! |

Oof, the price range is now 3-3.5k, slowly dropping...
That said, if the market keeps going the way it's going, you'll be able to get any hatchling you want for pennies on the dollar, and if you were willing to wait a bit, you could ride it out and then sell them for a huge profit.

It looks like it is also a good time to buy gene'd dragons, since it looks like all the prices are dropping into the below 20k range, and even the below 10k mark with some.

I got a gened pearlcatcher for 60k the other day. He's going to make lovely babies with my other one. <3 |

Hatchling prices have gone back up to around 4k, for plain hatchlings.
For everything except Iridescent, (It's about 10k more expensive.) with primary genes, the pricing is 8k.
With secondary genes, the market is hovering within a grand of 5k, it seems. (The exception is Seraph, which is hovering around 6k instead.
With tertiary genes, Pricing is 20k.
Thusly, the Common Hatchling Stock Report! (CHSR?)

Wow the memories, reading about the hatchling prizes...hahaha in the end all dragons are basically worthless, how sad.
I'm breeding a pair of pretty imps with glimmer, I reaaaally hope the hatchling will sell for a decent price but I'm not counting on it.

Glimmer will sell, for sure. I haven't been able to find cheap glimmers yet.
The color wheel update has me so stoked. Been buying unhatched eggs to sell when the new colors are released. |

Everyone seems to be going crazy for it
I had a breeding project to complete before a bunch of new colors get introduced... argh. It's hopeless, unless I get the perfect hatchling right now. |

Yes I managed to sell her for 300G : D
My problem with the color wheel update is that it will take a long time to get certain combos and I was in dire need of a lemon/lemon/maize in iri/shim, it has a greenish hue and I bet yellow will have an orangy hue which would be perfect for what I need..

I forgot we had a topic about this :O
I joined up back in May (nature festival happened that month :?), and I got OBSESSED (I got 25 dergs after 2 weeks of playing maybe).
I have now waited, and now get to breed my 2 gorgeous nocturnes, a gorgeous pair of coatls (or as the forums are saying right now, boatls), and a Wildclaw Coatl pair
I'd be 100% happy to sell at a reduced rate to other CC members : D
I'm LoverIan on FR
With the new colors and a couple new genes I'm not surprised everyone is going crazy.... Though it means I'll have to try and snag the new color ASAP so I can sell
And I have to agree, it's kind of funny how cheap it is to get a derg, and yet you'll still see ones around 50+K when ones for 2K exist. Though usually the higher prices ones have rarer genes and really great colors.

When I joined back in 2013 it took me quite a while to get non-plentiful dragons. I still have some of those first spirals, pearlcatchers and especially my wildclaws I remember being super excited to get a pair haha. On of them actually looks good.
I reaaaally hope they open up registration permanently after introducing the new color wheel, that could actually maybe save the economy..
I'll add you LoverIan!

There will always be a surplus of dragons since there is limited lair space. Newbies also breed, and breed a lot.
What makes dragons worth something is the new genes that aren't yet everywhere, and I think this new color wheel will be amazing for the dragon economy, as people scramble to get the new colors. |

That's what I mean, it would take longer to get new desired combinations, and if reg is open then there would be even more demand and some retired breeding pairs could suddenly be useful again.
