Trying to run scripts in the Steam version gives the error in the title. i tried clicking "Bind Game" but that did nothing. I then tried installing the remastered patch to see if that did something, but since it's not based off Exodus it didn't do anything. People on the forums have complained abt this issue before but only in terms of the Genetics Kit. any help?! |

No issues using CAOS Tool with the Steam version here. In fact, none of official CL/GW dev tools have any problems with it here. Did you use the GOG version before perhaps? I have noticed that some uninstallers are pretty bad at cleaning up the Windows Registry. So I would run registry cleaning utility such as the one included with CCleaner or if you comfortable, deleting the offending entries in the registry manually through regedit.exe. |

Yeah, I figured this out. I was running engine.exe as admin and nothing else. (facepalm) It works fine now |
