Hi there... I followed your installation guide and managed to install the game in my documents directory, but... I tried to export my norns and I can't import them back !! I found them in one of my directories but I can't have them back  |

What game? Do you get an error message when you try to import them? |

Oh sorry, it's Creatures exodus with the GOG installer. The import button is un-clik-able, I can't click on it |

In your Creatures documents directory should be a file called "machine.cfg", you can open it like any text file. In there are the lines "Auxiliary 1 Exported Creatures Directory" and same with 2 instead of 1. Are the paths set up there pointing to the right directory for your creatures 3 and docking station My Creatures dirs? (even a space at the wrong place, like "/creatures /" instead of "/creatures/" might cause issues here). Other thing that might be a problem are wrong registry entries. Interesting though, that the export worked … |

I am not at my machine to check, but can you still import creatures if you are at the creature limit? If you try increasing the limit in the settings panel, can you import then? |

You cannot typically import creatures when you're at the creature limit. I always set mine to something crazy like 5000 or so, and then pretend to be surprised when I come back to a crash. Science is a beautiful gift to humanity; We should not distort it. |

What's the exact path to the directory where the exported creatures' files are? (If your full name is part of it, replace that part with [REDACTED].) |
