Im using Spritebuilder to make an agent, but I don't know how to turn pngs into bmps.

There are probably bunches of online tools that can convert images from png to bmp, if you want to give them a go.

Personally, I just open the picture in my image editing program of choice, go to the file menu, "save file as..." and then change the file format.
It seems that under Windows 10, even Paint is finally capable of that.
Alternatively you could try a third-party image tool. Some of them actually support PNG out of the box.

As an alternative solution, since I've never been able to get Spritebuilder to behave even when it was relatively new, Edos from the Jagent suite understands pngs and png transparency just fine. You can only use fully transparent or opaque pixels, though, nothing in between. https://sourceforge.net/projects/jagent/ |
