Do CFF breeds barely ever have eggs? | |

Woo! I'm so rusty there's barely anything left.
I'm not entirely sure what's up with my norns but I've been using the CFF versions of norns in my worlds and for the life of me they will not breed. I've played for hours and have. I thought once norns were at at least youth stage they'd start breeding but I have four (two males two females) and not a single egg to be seen, and the Hoverdoc shows no drives going off for reproduction or anything.
Before I deleted my old worlds I had a population of cffs and apple norns and the apples bred like rabbits but the others would occasionally breed too.
Is there something I'm doing wrong or what? Or should I just use the other versions of the norns? It's so weird having too many eggs at one point and now none at all.

Ummm... depending on what agents you are using, some of them might be causing the norns to wait until at least adulthood to breed. And depending on what breeds/genomes you are using, some of them have instincts that keep them from getting friendly with or around norns that are related to them. And I think I remember something about 1st gen eggs laid of the same breed are considered siblings? It's been a long time so I'm not completely sure on that. |

I think they do have some changes to make them less prolific breeders. |

It's a known issue that CFFs have a Libido lowerer chemical half-life that is too long, making them often difficult to breed. Some people prefer it this way, but if it's a problem consider going into the genomes and lowering the half-life, or using another genome base.

Thanks guys! I'll probably stop using the cffs then. I've absolutely no idea how to mess with genomes or anything like that and knowing me I'd probably break something trying to mess with it. xD
