Help Forum Brain in a Vat problem    Dinofan137      4/1/2018 Hi everyone, Once again, I'm requesting your help. I recently decided to dig in the Creatures' brain system. I'm playing Docking Station, and I'm trying to use the Brain in a Vat program. Here is my problem : Every time I try to choose a Norn in the Brain in a Vat program, while DS is connected and running, I get the following dialog box : " Runtime Error ! Program : [Path to Brain in a Vat]/Vat_1.9.exe abnormal program termination" And then DS freezes, and I've got no choice to quit Brain in a Vat. So I'm actually unable to use Brain in a Vat ! Any idea about how to solve this problem ? Since the dialog box speaks about Runtime, I think there's something missing on my system ... I'm running on a Windows 8.1 computer. I've got the GOG version of DS with the Remaster Patch installed My game is installed in the default folder proposed by Gog : C:/GOG Games/Creatures Exodus/Docking Station I'm running both DS and Brain in a Vat in Admin mode   Delcron   3/10/2019 I would like to second this, as I'm having the same problem. I have all the same info except I'm running the programs on windows 7. I have figured out that Brain in the Vat works on the offline mode however.   Wingheart   3/10/2019 @Delcron Albian Warp doesn't play nice with either CAOS Tool or Brain in a Vat   Delcron   3/10/2019 Dumb question but what is the Albian Warp?   Wingheart   3/10/2019 the Docking Station fanserver mod thingy that lets you use Docking Station's online mode despite the official servers being down the devs recently were given some TCP dumps of official server responses and are currently working on reverse engineering them to minimise the amount of game modification needed to get them to work with a fanmade server; perhaps one day we'll just need a config file and it'll work just fine with Brain in a Vat!   Delcron   3/10/2019 Okay, thanks for letting me know!
