Hello! I've only got a little bit of time right now and I've only read the first handful of posts in this thread (I will come back and read later when I have more time). But I wanted to throw any support I can behind Moe and what he's said. If you want to preserve the Community and all the content that still can be saved then you've got to do something now. And you've got to make all that content available now, for everyone, or else risk it being lost into oblivion forevermore.
I support a "Vault" section of CreaturesCaves or an "Archive", etc. And if a creator comes along and says they don't want their work hosted there then those items can be removed - although such creators would be under a moral obligation (moral and nothing more) to provide an active link to that work elsewhere. Also, creators who have made it clear in the past what they want to happen to their work (e.g. MNB per Moe's post) should have their explicit intentions carried out.

Agree with Moe, there.
As I have backups of my games in USB keys, I still have many of very old agents, for example: do someone remember the clover patch plant from 2002? I still have it.
I, also, have been lucky enought to have unfished metarooms, and abandonned concepts in backstore, before their sites went down (now more than a decade ago?). For example, I have an fully workable Beelacanth laucher for DS, so I can plant them in C2toDS...But the agent was not finished, as sometime, it autokill itself...so maybe more functionalities were planned at the base?
And, also, how I could post them, exactly?

I already update/fix and release stuff for C1.
Only one person has ever complained, and two others asked I replace the upload with a link.
For context I have over a thousand uploads and I've been maintaining my site for around twenty years.
I say there is no problem, it's a very old game and those who have a vested interest will let us know.
Now I think about it, I've had far more people thanking me than cursing me
