General Forum Strange Creatures-themed dream    NewNovaScotia        8/14/2017  1 Last night, I had the weirdest dream about Creatures. I was playing C2 on my red laptop, which is the one I use to play games. While I was transporting my male Norn Stellarton around in the flying saucer, he had somehow grabbed one of the poisonous red berries from below the coconut island, and had killed himself from the poison. I could see stars spinning around his head, indicating that he was dead. I felt sad about seeing one of my first Norns die a somewhat painful death. However, I got a surprise when I clicked on the Norns menu - another Norn had hatched, a male Norn. Curious, I clicked on this new unknown Norn to name him, only to find that he looked a monstrous shade of green and had angry ruby-red eyes - more like a Grendel than a Norn. I was pretty shocked, but I decided to name him and keep him, since he was mine. Because of his angry looks, I named him Antigonish, after a character of mine who has a very bad temper and is prone to violent outbursts at the tiniest thing. Just as I'd named Antigonish and taken a photo of him, the dream ended there. Have any of you had Creatures dreams lately? Married to Canada since 2010. 🇨🇦   Lodestar Doringo     8/15/2017  1 No, not really, but I did had a freelancer dream very recently which involved a star system which had three segments for whatever reason, since opening up the navmap brought up three rectangles. Each one had a different theme, the first one had a floor (for some reason) which could be walked on (even weirder seeing as this is a game that involves spaceflight but not EVA.). There was no regular looking jumphole but instead a black and white wormhole looking thing. When flying past the boundaries at the top (north), instead of just going off the navmap you immediately teleport to the next area. The first had the floor, the second had weird looking mines (explosive) and the third had alien structures (with floor) and was heavily guarded. I kept running into issues where other players (this was apparently multiplayer, so there were dream characters) would have me tagged as hostile due to the rep system not working correctly.   GimmeCat   8/15/2017  1 Can't say I remember having any Creatures dreams (though I've had plenty of game-related dreams in general), but I do just want to say that the spinning stars around a norn's head indicates unconsciousness, not death. So if you ever see that happen to one of your norns, there's still a chance you can save them with some quick action.   bjw   8/15/2017  1 I actually had a dream once that norns were real. I had a chichi norn walk up to me and start talking, and I tickled it the same way you can in the game, I woke up shortly afterward. I think it's because I had just finished playing C3DS right before I went to bed.   NewNovaScotia     11/16/2017  2 I had another Creatures dream just last night. This time, it looked more like C3 in its appearance, with full-on 3D. However, I could see the pool of lava from C2, and it was proper bubbling below me, though I couldn't really feel the heat. There was also this weird thing going on with the incubator, where it kept spitting out newborn Norns and Ettins (who were bright neon yellow for some strange reason) and they went into another machine, where they returned as an egg and the whole cycle would start all over again.
