I know you can teach baby norns "things" by pointing at them and clicking on them with the question mark hand, but how do you teach them verbs, like run, eat, sleep etc.. without the learning machine? Can other norns who know already, teach them those things?

I don't think other Norns can teach verbs - I'm not even sure they can teach nouns. The knowledge stones and Holistic Learning Machine will teach all words at once, and there's a decent number of vocabulary agents out there.

Edit: You'll probably want this.

Some of my baby norns have learned some vocabulary from adult norns. I don't think they pushed any knowledge stones, since I raise them in the terrarium.

I seem to remember reading in the Docking Station directions years, and years ago that the babies can learn from adults.. but I forget what it said they can learn.

In response to teaching all words at once, you can also do this to a Norn using CAOS! To do it, you can press CTRL + SHIFT + C to open the CAOS menu. Type this into the command line: targ norn vocb

and press Enter. If you want to teach vocab to every living Creature at once, use this instead: enum 4 0 0 vocb next

It's very handy! After you're done entering commands, press CTRL + SHIFT + C again to close the command line.

I was actually wanting to have a machine or computer, or something, like Creatures 1 has, to teach norns only verbs since I can't teach them that in the wild. I love teaching norns objects with the hand.

I'm not sure if Norns can learn vocabulary from other Norns. You can observe this in a wolfling run. Teach the first generation their words, but isolate the group from all computers, et cetera. If no one else does I'm going to give this a try when I have time.

Conclude with killer catchphrase.

Normally the way you would do it is through the learning machine in the Learning Room, the entrance of which is located on the left side of the Norn Terrarium. Alternatives exist, such as stones of knowledge located in the Bridge, Jungle and Desert. However, if you're in Docking Station standalone, there's a learning machine which instantly teaches norns in the lower-right section of the Norn Meso. Otherwise without custom add-ons, the only way to teach norns without a machine is through the question mark hand. Back in Creatures 2 and Creatures 1, the process for nouns was different and you had to speak the word you want them to use for the type of object they are currently looking at.
